A PERSONAL BACK-STORY

My passion for photography began at 14 when I had a Ricoh rangefinder and I turned the family bathroom into a part-time darkroom. I spent many hours with my fingers immersed in developing chemicals and producing black & white images.

As a young adult, I had a professional career working for the TV production company, Crawfords. In its day, it was a great training ground and I gained lots of experience in a variety of fields, including camera, grip, lighting, sound, DA and set-dressing.

My interest in photography continued into portraiture, weddings, real estate and then predominantly commercial property.

Apart from photography, my interests include catching up with my four children, guitar-playing, screenwriting, running, good food and a bit of surfing.
